HS AU: Not Your Colour

So ever since 'It's Been A Hard Life' AU Rose sprite existed, I've wanted to pair her with Red!Kanaya. Just because it's my OTP and it works in my head. Rose with a drunkard mom and bruises from bully's and dirt poor... I imagine she'd be one of those introvert, shut in cases. Very quiet, hard to talk to, but elegant and well-spoken and a bit needy when opened up.

And no, it's not connected with adamantApoplectic 's Red Dead Virgo AU, or at least I tried not to. (Didn't want to with the who Vriska thing already going.) Kinda hard when it already exists though.
So anyway, Kanaya applying some of here lipstick to Rose, because she's never worn makeup before. (And before you ask, its her only tube and she found it.)

Apparently we're trying to out-heartbreak each other. (Except not, because that's depressing.) 8)
